Wellbeing Book Club - RECOVERY COLLEGE
FREE - 2nd Wednesday every month, 1pm - 3pm
- Location 1
Are you a book lover? Do you want to exercise your brain, mix more, or just improve your mood? Or if you're just curious about what a book club is, join our Wellbeing Book Club! After a successful launch with a taster session in Nov 21, this book club is now a regular monthly event. Meetings take place on the SECOND Wednesday of the month, between 1pm and 3pm. This is a great way to open up discussion on wellbeing and to connect with likeminded people in the local community. Sessions are lead and organised by the Northumberland Recovery College itself, so any questions and booking queries should be put to them directly. WHAT IS THE NORTHUMBERLAND RECOVERY COLLEGE? Northumberland Recovery College is co-ordinated by Mental Health Concern, and is a collaboration of partners who want to make it easy for everyone to access learning and activities that promote wellbeing and good mental health. The college is open to ANY adult living in Northumberland who wants to improve their own wellbeing and/or the health and wellbeing of someone they care for or support. You can find out more about the college, and what else is on in your area, on their website: WWW.NORTHUMBERLANDRECOVERYCOLLEGE.CO.UK HOW DO I BOOK? To ensure your place on this event please contact the Recovery College direct via its website or by email to NRC@MENTALHEALTHCONCERN.ORG COVID SECURITY: The Centre is keeping some additional hygiene precautions. Please use the hand sanitising stations, and if you can, wear a face covering when moving around the building. Tea/coffee provided. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.
Course and workshop fees must be paid before the start of the class. Payment can be made online using PayPal, or by card, cash or cheque at the centre. Refunds will only be given if we cancel a course or workshop, or at the discretion of the centre manager. In the event of low enrolments, we may have to cancel or reschedule a course or workshop. If you have enrolled and paid and we cancel or reschedule a course or workshop, you will be given the option of a full refund or to transfer the fee to another course or workshop. If we need to cancel a session due to bad weather, tutor illness or any other unforeseen event, we will inform you as soon as possible, and reschedule the missed class or workshop.
